Daddys Cap

My daddy was a small man
His stature five foot five,
But when he wore his cap
It was raised about a hight.

He wore his cap so manly
It built up his physique,
It made him look distinguished
He certainly looked unique.

But a hat don’t make a man
It’s what he Is Inside,
When I think of daddy
My heart swells with pride.

A father protects his children
makes them feel secure and safe,
A real dad Is Jesus like
God sent him to feel his place.

God instructed us to you dad
Be the hedge, fill In the gap,,
There’s more to being a dad
Than putting on a hat.
