10 Tips to Become a Successful Home Business Entrepreneur

You want to start a home business and become self-employed? That’s a very bold move my friend, because while many will try to become a successful home business entrepreneur, many will fail in their efforts. You don’t want to end up like them. Here are ten tips to get you on the path to success.

1) Don’t dive headfirst into the unknown. That is, whatever you intend to do, make sure you have done your homework and research about it, and know what the risks are.

2) Have a well-thought out business plan. You will know your home business best, so it is up to you to work out, design, and plan every aspect to how your business will run.

3) Take action! There is no try in the world of home business; you either do something or you don’t do it. “Trying” to do something will get you nowhere fast.

4) Be very consistent with your actions. Many small streams will form a river, so even if you can only do something small to contribute to your business, do it on a regular basis. Over time this will all add up.

5) Know who your target market is. These will be the people who will pay their hard earned money for your business. You must learn and research what will please your target market, and work to present your business in front of them.

6) Advertise, advertise, advertise. Nobody will know your business exists if you don’t advertise. There are countless ways you can advertise your home business, both online and offline, so learn them and use them well.

7) This is very important: have a clear, specific goal set in mind when working your home business. This will help you mentally and get you in the right mindset, since you will know what you will be working for. Make sure your goals are realistic.

8) Realize that you most likely will encounter hardships while on your way to become a successful home business entrepreneur. The ones who are successful are able to work around these hardships, no matter how harsh and demoralizing, and come out on top.

9) Things are always changing in the world of home business, and new things are always being discovered. Don’t ever stop reading and learning about all the aspects and topics about home business.

10) Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. There are plenty of sites, message boards, and groups devoted to home business. Everyone involved is trying to become a successful home business entrepreneur, and the best way to succeed is to learn from the more experienced and learn to use their strategies for your business.

10 Tips to Becoming an Early RIser

Sometimes even the most diligent people need a few extra minutes to get things done in the morning. Whether it’s getting in a workout, a longer shower or simply not having to rush out the door, a few extra minutes could be the difference between an okay and a great day.

There’s something special about the mornings. Everyone has seen a beautiful sunset, but life is too short not catch a few more sun rises, and having that workout done before work cuts out all the excuses that inevitable arise during a busy routine. But in order to have that extra hour two it takes a little planning a lot of commitment.

1. It takes discipline. There are no two ways about it. Anyone who wants to start getting up early in the day will have to exhibit health doses discipline.

2. Look at sleeping patterns and find the best way to set up your day. Decide on how much time you want use versus how much you need. It’s not just about getting up early, it’s about hitting the hay early as well.

3. Set up a schedule for the first morning and know that the snooze alarm no longer exists. Many people have a hard time getting to bed early enough, but by the next night it won’t be a problem. An hour lost one night is worth the groggy feeling for the many hours gained during the week. If necessary, put the alarm across the room.

4. Set coffee makers to be brewing before waking. There is nothing worse than trying to become a morning person without a little help from the caffeine supplyers.

5. Get as much light as possible. The desire the sleep is hormonal, and if rising before dawn, the desk lamp on the night stand is not fooling the brain. Consider buying upgraded light bulbs and even an alarm clock that slowly lights the bedroom to aid in process of getting up.

6. Get something productive done. A lot of time is lost in the mornings for lack of motivation. Those wanting to learn to be an early riser should set up a little check list to reinforce why they are missing a little sack time and to help build a routine.

7. Get the exercise in. The body loves to get going, and when exercise is performed in the morning, there are not excuses for the rest of the day.

8. Take some time to get to know the morning and it won’t seem so bad. Go outside, look around, nature still thinks your late. Learn that the mornings are cool and crisp and are something that many people squander away.

9. Take on a new attitude. Early risers come in two forms, those who cant sleep, and those who embrace the day. Even when disgruntled, it’s important to remember, 4 a.m. isn’t different than 6 a.m. It may not be fun at first, but when thinking about the fact that the day is just beginning and that many of the little want to’s are out of the way, it’s easier to take on the have to’s.

10. It’s okay to go to bed a bit earlier if need be, but the body has to adapt to waking at a certain time, so a routine must be established and kept, and that means that Sunday sleep ins are out.

It’s great to get up and going. People are amazed at how much they can get done when they get up earlier because there isn’t a rush, and there aren’t any excuses. There are few parties, calls, friends or loved ones at the wee hours, but there is a substantial amount of ‘me’ time.

10 Tips for Beating Candy Crush Saga

1. Different boards require different strategies. Each board in Candy Crush Saga is unique. Each one requires a different strategy such as clearing out obstacles, using speed, creating special candies, combining special candies, removing chocolate or removing bombs. Study the Candy Crush board carefully. If you are not getting coming close to finishing, you should try a new strategy.

2. Understand how special candies work. You create special candies by combining four or more candies of the same color. Some special candies are the striped, wrapped and color bomb candies. Learn how these special candies work and use them in the right circumstances. Also know how special candy combinations work. These combinations are powerful in Candy Crush Saga.

3. Understand how obstacles work. Obstacles in Candy Crush Saga make it harder to match candies. Learn how to remove obstacles or work around them.

4. Think about each move. Make calculated moves. Think a few moves ahead. This is more effective than simply matching the first candies you see.

5. Embrace luck. Sometimes you just need a little luck. Keep playing, and luck will eventually come your way.

6. Restart until the opening board is favorable. Sometimes it is crucial to have a good starting board. If the opening board looks bad, just exit and restart. You can do this as many times as you want, and you will not lose a life.

7. Match lower candies to trigger cascading matches. Matching lower candies causes lots of higher candies to shift down. This increases the chance of cascading matches.

8. Be prepared for the long haul. Some boards will take longer to complete than others. Do not get frustrated. Just keep trying.

9. Show some love, get some love. Send lives and extra moves to your friends. Then they will send some back to you.

10. Get unlimited lives. When you run out of lives, use this trick to get more.

10 Time Saving IPhone Applications

The iPhone can dethrone the common computer – either a PC or a Mac – in some important areas, and may even replace the computer in various daily tasks.

Here is a list of 10 things you can do today faster on an iPhone than on a desktop.

1) Weather: To learn about the weather it is easier to check the iPhone than browse the internet.

2) Maps and GPS: If you want to see the map of where you are, you spend less time opening the maps on your iPhone than opening up your web browser on your desktop or laptop and entering your location. Some maps for more complex tasks may require even more time and work in front of the computer.

3) SMS and international connections: You can use Fring, Nimbuzz and the other voice over IP applications, both the Mac and the iPhone can make connections with low cost of WiFi So, instead of connecting a headset to the Mac or PC and make the connection via Skype, go directly to the phone.

4) Facebook: The Facebook application for the iPhone is a quick way to end the boredom and see what your friends are doing. The web version has more features, but the iPhone has a summary of everything.

5) Music: You can have your complete collection on your home computer and take your favorite tunes on your iphone (or all, depending on size). With the iPhone and earphones with you, listening to your favorite songs anywhere is easy.

6) Check e-mail: Instead of entering the webmail or mail client all the time, the iPhone (and iPod touch) is a companion which is next to the desktop and alerts you of new messages. And you just have to go to the computer if you don’t want to type a long email on the small touch screen keyboard.

7) Contacts and Calendar: these two features work so well in the iPhone that it might make you forget to open your Calendar on the Mac for some time – just be sure to synchronize the data every week to not lose data (or use the MobileMe or Google Calendar to keep everything synchronized without work).

8) Games: Anyone who has the device with a jailbreak or App Store account in the U.S. can download fun and entertainment titles at any time – like waiting in the dentist office.

9) Notes: as the calendar, you get your notes to any place with the iPhone. It would be even better if the notes could sync with the Mac’s Stickies

10) Twitter: Applications such as Twinkle and Twiterrific help to keep up to date and send your information to Twitter. The only problem is the lack of copy and paste in the iPhone (ie no paste URLs in your twitts).

The iPhone is a real time saver, it just takes the time to take it out of your pocket.

10 Things to Be Thankful for This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday.

It is the last Holiday not corrupted beyond recognition, by greed and rampant consumerism. Everyone in America knows the story of the first Thanksgiving and at every dinner table in the country we give thanks for the blessings of the preceding year. We can all find meaning in this holiday and come together in friendship.

This past year has been rough on a lot of families. Jobs have been lost, hours have been cut, and homes have been taken by banks. All of us have faced some struggle as this recession has raged throughout the nation. I know. I have lost a job and a home this year. I’m not earning near as much as I had been just last year, and yet…

I still have many reasons to be thankful. For everything that I have lost I have at least one blessing in my life.

Here are 10 things that I am thankful for this Thanksgiving.

My friends have become such an important part of my life that I simply can’t imagine not being able to talk with them. I cherish nothing more than being able to share the evening hours with them over a glass of wine and a game.

In the years since my divorce each of them has stood by me and supported me at every turn. Without them my life would have become a hollow empty husk. They are my strength when I am weak, they make me laugh when all I want to do is cry, they offer a hand before I’ve even asked, and they encourage me in whatever I choose to do.

I am thankful that I have such wonderful friends in my life and I hope that I am half the friend to them as they are to me.

My brother and his wife recently welcomed a new daughter into the family. Like her older sister she is beautiful and makes her uncle proud. She was the belle of the ball at our family reunion this year.

Spending time with my new niece and our extended family was wonderful. I hadn’t seen my cousins in several years and we had lost touch as we spread across the country. It has been many years since so many of the Purdy clan had been in one place and I am glad that we had the time to sit and visit with each other. I am amazed at where we have all ended up and the various things that we have done since the last time we had seen each other.

I am thankful that my extended family is always there to welcome me with open arms and hearts when I finally come back home. I hope they know how much I love them.

I may have lost a job this year and taken a steep pay cut but, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn has enabled me keep working even while so many others search in vain. Never would I have imagined that I would become a full time daycare provider. It is, however, something that I enjoy doing. I am happier now than I have been in years. It also allows me time to pursue other interests such as writing and learning new job skills.

To all who are still searching, try to remain positive and do not be afraid to try something new. Like me, you may find a new career that brings you more happiness than you ever imagined.

I am thankful that I have work to do and for the money it provides.

An Education

Anyone who knew me while I was in school will laugh in disbelief when I say that my education is something that I am thankful for. I hated school.

Learning however, was a different matter. My education gave me a foundation on which to build and my desire to learn has helped me take several very interesting jobs. Having learned how to learn, I can honestly say that there is nothing that I can’t learn how to do.

Recently I have been helping one of the children that I provide daycare for with his homework. Unfortunately, he is a lot like I was when I was in school and homework is torture. A lot of the techniques that I use to help him focus on and complete his homework were learned from my mother, who spent many long frustrating hours helping me with mine. And while many of our homework sessions devolved into anger and tantrums my mom stuck it out. I am fortunate that through her trial and error I have an arsenal already at my disposal. I’m sure that there were many times that she wished someone could have shared these tools with her.

I am thankful that my mother pushed me so hard and worked closely with me to ensure that I got the most out of my education.

A Home

Many of us take our homes for granted, assuming that we will always have them. If this recession has taught us anything, it is this. Our homes, be they apartments, houses, or condos, are only as safe as our jobs. I have been fortunate that I have been able to keep a roof over my head through several rounds of layoffs. Many others have not.

I am thankful that I have someplace warm and safe to sleep at night; someplace where I am welcomed with open and loving arms.

During the most troubling and difficult times laughter becomes essential. Without laughter our lives become just a little more empty. Being able to laugh, even at something as stupid as a misspelled classified ad, moves the heart and soul from sadness to joy. A joy that can last beyond the brief moment that caused the laughter in the first place. It has been said that laughter is the best medicine. Can you deny the truth of that?

I laugh everyday. More so now that I am watching the children full time. Sometimes I laugh at some silliness that one of the children has let slip from their mouth and sometimes I laugh because I chose to sit and watch a sitcom. I don’t care how bad your day, week, month, or year is, if you can find laughter you will be happy.

I am thankful that I have so many reasons to laugh and that through laughter I can release the tension and worry that builds up in these difficult times.

Our health is something that we should all be thankful for. I have gone without health insurance for at least five years of my adult life. This could have been problematic if I had been in poor health. There are millions of Americans without health insurance, who when faced with an illness must choose between paying for health care and paying the electric bill.

I am thankful that I am healthy enough not to have found myself faced with this choice. I am also thankful that we have a President who feels so strongly about making sure everyone has access to affordable health care.

The Kindness Of Strangers

At some point in our lives we will benefit from the kindness of a stranger. Perhaps it will be someone who let’s you merge into heavy traffic when everyone else has pulled all the way forward and blocked the driveway. Maybe it will be someone who gives you a nickel at the 7 – eleven because you’re just a little short. Whatever kindness that a stranger may share be thankful and remember to pass that favor on as a random act of kindness.

I am thankful for the kindness a stranger showed me when she allowed me to move ahead of her in the checkout line because she could see that with the baby in one hand, milk in the other, and the three year old trying his best to pick up every piece of candy on the shelf that allowing me to go ahead would help me out. I want to thank everyone who has ever shown me a small kindness like this.

Our Abundant Wealth

How often do we wish that we could afford a better car, a new TV, or that new game console? How often do we complain that we just don’t make enough?

A lot.

I have seen true poverty and know that I live the life of a very wealthy man. The truth is that even when we are flat broke, living paycheck to paycheck, and trying to win the lottery, we are still rich in comparison to millions of people throughout the world.

I am thankful for every dollar that I earn and the luxuries that money provides. I am also thankful for the organizations that are trying to make a difference in the lives of people and communities who are living in poverty.

Natural Resources

Like many people, I worry about the negative impact our society is having throughout the world. The polluting of our lakes and streams, the clearing of our forests, and the loss of farmland to urban sprawl. Global warming, melting ice caps, and rising sea levels all loom in the near future; specters of an armageddon of our own making. But for as much damage as we have done there are those who fight to protect our resources and our wildlife.

There are over 50 national parks in the US. These are places where we can go and enjoy the natural wonders that our modern society has made so rare. I enjoy spending time outdoors in the sun or in the snow. Walking in the woods is a special joy that makes a walk through the neighborhood seem like a chore.

I encourage everyone to find time to get away from the cities and spend time in nature.

I am thankful to live in a place with so many nature parks filled with hiking paths and not with swing-sets and tennis courts. I am also thankful for those parks with the playgrounds. So are the children!

The Thankfulness Challenge

We should all be thankful for the things on this list and yet there are so many other blessings, large and small, to be thankful for. I challenge you to write your own list of things to be thankful for. Take a few from this list and add a few of your own, create an entirely new list, or take this list and use your own life and experiences to make it a personal list.

You Don’t have To Wait

I am thankful for the opportunity to share my list with you and to leave you with this one final thought. You don’t have to wait for Thanksgiving to be thankful. Be thankful everyday and see what new wonders your attitude of gratitude will open up for you.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful Holiday Season filled with love and laughter.

10 Things to Twitter About While in College

Facebook may still the favorite social media choice among college students, but a survey released December 9, 2010 reports that 18% of college students that go online use Twitter. Percentage-wise, that’s more than mom and dad–only 8% of Americans adults use Twitter.

There are many, many things a college student could Twitter about, from social life to academic-related issues. This list will focus on campus life.

1. Write for the school paper? Use, the URL shortner, to share your most recent story. Use a compelling headline to entice people to click. In fact, you can use this tactic for any college media outlet–television shows, radio, blogs, journals, etc. Better yet, get your entire campus news organization to adopt Twitter.

2. Contemplating grad school? Tweet your ideas and questions about grad school to get feedback from pros in the field. Better yet, see if the schools you are interested in applying to are on Twitter. Its admissions or alumni office (and its current students) can be a great help in answering important questions that could influence your decision.

3. Use Twitter to recruit club members –especially at the beginning of the semester. Use Twitter to promote your next meeting. To jazz it up, use TwitPic to share pictures from past events. Show people what they are missing!

5. Use Twitter to promote a campus art event. If you are involved in music, theater or dance, utilize Twitter to get the word out to your followers and use appropriate hashtags to attract community members too. Better yet, if share a link to videos of rehearsal or previous performances.

6. Use Twitter to sell your used books! Think of Twitter as a micro Craig’s List or eBay by telling people what books you have up for sale. Be sure to make the arrangements over Direct Message (DM) if they involve an address or phone number. Don’t limit this idea to textbooks either: sell old furniture or other apartment decor if you are graduating or moving.

7. Use Twitter to promote your sporting event . Something is always in season! Tweet about your upcoming game or, if you are a spectator, tweet live from the game. For fun, do some friendly trash-talking to get some conversation going, too.

8. Use Twitter to network. Follow companies at which you’d be interested in interning or working. Many companies and recruiters post job opps on Twitter. Keep your eyes and ears peeled. Never be afraid to ask a question. Use a DM if you don’t want to publicly ask your question.

9. Use Twitter to find help or find study buddies . Tweeting while studying? Tweet about something you are unsure of and maybe get an answer from someone in your class, or someone who took a similar class. It can be an impromptu peer tutoring session.

10. Use Twitter to find research ideas or to promote a poll for a research class – lots of college students do surveys as a research method for senior projects. Survey Monkey is a great free tool to create polls and surveys. Promote your survey link on Twitter to reach more people than you could with traditional methods.

10 Things to Do on Valentine's Day When You're Single

Valentine’s Day happens every year on February 14th. It’s usually a day that consists of a date with cards and candy. That’s all fine and dandy but what if you’re single? Here’s a list of 10 things to do on Valentine’s Day when you’re single.

1. Have a “Singles Only” Party.
You’d be surprised how many people you may know that don’t have a date. Get everyone together that isn’t planning on going on a date with someone and have a fun party. You can also invite people who may have partners who are away for work or another reason as well. For an example, include any military spouses so they aren’t alone on the day. It’s not meant to be a mean spirited party, it’s meant to be fun and get people together that may have otherwise felt left out on this day.

2. Watch Non-Romantic Movies.
Pick a couple movies out to watch that don’t have any romance in them. Whether you want to go all out with an action flick or maybe a pure comedy try to pick a couple movies to watch throughout the night that don’t have a plot that revolve around a romantic relationship.

3. Visit the Zoo or Animal Shelter.
Animals can give unconditional love. If you want to interact with a living creature but people aren’t your cup of tea today visit a zoo or animal shelter. Ask to be able to interact with the various animals and you might even make a connection with one. Don’t forget your camera!

4. Cook a Romantic Meal…for Yourself!
Who says you don’t deserve a nice meal today? Cook yourself a “romantic” meal such as some yummy pasta or a nice steak. You can even light up a few candles to put around your place setting when you eat.

5. Visit a Retirement Home or Assisted Living.
This is a great day to make someone else’s day. Visit a retirement home and visit elderly that might not have spouses anymore. Make this day special for them. It will make them feel good and make you feel good as well. You can read to them or just have a nice conversation with them. Bring a handmade Valentine’s Day card or some homemade baked goods to make them smile.

6. Volunteer.
There are a lot of people that need help today. Instead of sitting around and moping that you don’t have a date on Valentine’s Day think about all the things that you have then think about all the things less fortunate have. Help feed homeless at a shelter or volunteer to clean up a city park. This is a great time to help out the community.

7. Workout or Go on a Hike.
You can do this anytime when you’re single but doing it on Valentine’s Day can be even more rewarding. If you already work out go on a long and vigorous hike somewhere. This is great for getting away all the commercialization businesses will be displaying today and most likely it’s a chance to avoid couples on a date as well.

8. Get Dressed Up and Take Yourself Out.
Just because you don’t have a date doesn’t mean you can’t get all dressed up and go out. Doing this will show everyone you encounter while you’re out that you are very secure and don’t need anyone to have a good time. You can go get yourself a nice meal or even go to a movie. If you really want to feel pampered opt to take a taxi somewhere so you can have a couple of drinks while you’re out.

9. Offer to Babysit.
If you like kids this is perfect and helps out another couple. Offer to babysit for a couple that needs a babysitter so they can have a nice Valentine’s Day date. You might even have a really good time playing games, coloring, or even watching a children’s movie.

10. Curl up With a Nice Book.
If you just want to forget about the whole Valentine’s Day itself go to the bookstore or library a pick out a new book to read. If you spend the whole day and night reading the book you may just forget about the whole day and just enjoy what this book is offering you.

10 Things the Tooth Fairy Can Leave Under Your Children's Pillow

Kids love creativity. Money is not the only option for the “tooth-fairy” to leave under their pillow. Yes, leave a couple of dollars once in a while, but other times, switch it up. Oh, and if you leave $10 or $20 one time for one tooth, watch out, you can’t go any lower because the kids remember and do no understand “it’s also a recession for the tooth-fairy!” $2 – $5 is PLENTY for a kid between the ages of 5 – 12.

1. Money
It’s obvious. Leaving a silver dollar, five one dollar bills, a roll of quarters etc… is alway an easy and appreciated gift from the “tooth-fairy.”

2. Diary
Probably geared more towards girls (but if that is something your boy likes, great!) a little diary (found at a Target or any variety store) with a princess on it or their favorite character is a fun choice.

3. Car or Robot
This is obviously geared towards boys, however, my kids play with all toys. Their favorite car, match box or from a movie, or robot or action figure is a very cute surprise. (It would have to be small enough to make it easy to put under the pillow!)

4. Nail Polish or Make Up
Depending how old your child is and if she is into that stuff, stores sometimes have great deals on all colors of nail polish as well as lip gloss or sparkly hair dust or gel.

5. Books
A book is a great gift, especially if your child is an avid reader or likes you to read to them. It seems like a lot of books these days are short, soft (not hardcover) and pretty flat, so it would be easy to slide it under the pillow.

6. Gift Card
If your child loses more than one tooth at once, which can happen more often then you think, a $5 or $10 (or your choice of amount) gift card to Toys R Us, their favorite store or to a play place is a great “tooth-fairy” gift as well.

7. Stationary
My daughter loves to write (she is only in first grade) and draw and send letters to her grandparents. What a great gift for all their letters – thank you notes for gifts, letters to friends and family and so on. You can even personalize the stationary with their name or initials.

8. Wish List
A friend did this, and I thought it was so cute. She made up a “tooth-fairy” wish list – with numbered spaces and a picture of the “tooth-fairy” for her child to write in the things he wanted from the “tooth-fairy.” She also gave him $3 so he not only got a “gift” but also had a chance to think about what he’d like the next time. (All within reason of course!)

9. Vacation Items
If the child’s tooth falls out close to a vacation time (holiday or summer) get them some Disney dollars or a gift card to the store at Six Flags or tickets for the rides at the beach etc…

10. Movie Tickets
This is a great gift if you can buy the tickets in advance for a movie you know they want to see. Otherwise, movie theaters have gift certificates that can be use for tickets and/or snacks.

10 Things to Do While Waiting in a Doctor's Office

Let’s face it; everyone has to see a medical doctor, dentist, or eye doctor. However, there is always that waiting room that you have to sit in before you are even seen. Sometimes this can be annoying because you are on time for your appointment but your doctor always seems to be running behind schedule. I’m going to give you some tips that will make the time go faster or at least keep you busy while you are waiting to be seen by your doctor.

1. You can talk to the person next to you. I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday and I watched the gentleman sitting next to me just chatting away with the person next to him. He asked him questions and just stroked up small talk with him. When it was time for that person to be seen, the gentleman turned around and started chatting with me. I didn’t mind because it helped me to pass the time.

2. You can always bring a book to read to your doctor’s appointment. I observed several people reading novels while they were waiting for their turn. Sometimes it does help if you bring something you are interested in because it does make the time go by faster and it doesn’t seem like you are waiting that long after all.

3. If you forget your book, all doctor’s office waiting areas have complimentary magazines and newspapers for their patients. If you are interested in simple magazines and like to read articles then you should pick a magazine and enjoy.

4. Bring a word search book with you to your doctor’s appointment. This definitely does help to pass the time if you don’t really like to read magazines and books. Word searches are fun and you don’t have to put much effort in reading the words to find.

5. On my way to the restroom, I observed a woman who was knitting. I thought that was a good way to pass the time while waiting to be seen by the doctor. I would have never thought about knitting since I don’t know how to do it. This woman was very into it and her sweater was taking shape right before my eyes.

6. Most hospital waiting rooms have televisions in them. They may not be on the channel that you like to watch but a television is always on. If you don’t like reading or doing word search puzzles then watching television could be a way to pass the time while you are waiting to be seen by the doctor.

7. Everyone also has cell phones with them just in case someone is trying to reach them. To pass the time in the doctor’s office you could always call someone that you haven’t spoken to in a long time. You can talk on the phone until you are able to be seen by the doctor.

8. My husband likes to play games on his cell phone. Every cell phone comes with a set of complimentary games in it. My husband takes out his cell phone and plays poker on it. This helps him to pass the time because he hates waiting in the doctor’s office.

9. My cell phone has the capability to check my email messages on it and alerts me when I have new ones. I like to go to my inbox and see what new emails that I have and respond to them. Checking my email helps me from going stir crazy while waiting to be seen by the doctor.

10. If you don’t like reading, word searches, watching television, or messing with your cell phone then you can work on writing things down that you need to get done. Basically, it will be your “to do” list. I started one of these lists yesterday while I was waiting to be seen and I’m glad I did because I would have forgot about half of what I needed to get done.

I know that everyone dreads going to the doctor. It doesn’t even matter what type of doctor that you see, you will still need to wait in the waiting area before you can go back and be taken care of. I hope that these tips have helped you in finding things to do and keeping busy at your next doctor’s appointment.
